Conveniently docked at the Wooden Shoe Bar on Smallwood
Lake located at 247 East M-61 Gladwin, Michigan 48624 (at the
bridge).   Relax and enjoy one of our evening or sunset
cruises/tours along the beautiful Northern Tittabawassee
River in Gladwin County.  Departing at 6 pm and 8:30 pm for a
1 hour cruise (group charters are also available).  

We will take you along for a relaxing cruise down to
Smallwood Lake Dam (aprox 2 miles) then return back.  If the
rivers low enough we can on occasion go "under the bridge"
and head north.  On any given evening there will be many
bonfires along the shore.  Check out our "tree in the river"
growing in the middle of the river from a recent shoreline
collapse/landslide.  There are "Two Rules of the Lake"
#1  When waved to - wave back  #2  Wave Often.     

Smallwood Lake is actually the Northern Tittabawassee River
that was damned up in the 1930's as a public works project to
create electricity.  To this day the dam is still creating
electricity.  The lake is aprox 6-7 miles long & is renowned for
its fishing and has several bass fishing tournaments.

The Tittabawassee River is the 8th longest river in Michigan
(80 miles) and its headwaters start near West Branch and it
continues down to Saginaw and empties into the Saginaw
River.  The lakes that encompass the Tittabawassee are -
from north to south -  Secord Lake, Smallwood Lake, Wixom
Lake, Sanford Lake.  This is northern-mid Michigan.     

Keep in mind that the Wooden Shoe Bar/Restaurant does
serve food and alcoholic beverages that can be brought
onto the cruise boat  (Buckets of Beer available).

Experience what summer life is like in Gladwin County - we

the beautiful Cedar River in Downtown Gladwin too.

The "Famous" Wooden Shoe Bar - located right on the
Northern Tittabawassee River (Smallwood Lake) - is a fixture
in Gladwin.  With its hand laid stone exterior and large
outside deck overlooking the river (Smallwood Lake) it has
been a meeting place for good food and drinks for many
generations.  Fridays and Saturdays during summer features
some very fine bands.  Thursdays are Karaoke nights.   

So if your looking for some relaxing and enjoyable times "on
the river" with stereo music (evening cruise features
relaxing music) in an enclosed (all windows are opening
type) Coast Guard Approved Passenger Boat with a bathroom
and access to a bar/restaurant then ----  "Welcome Aboard".
